There are individuals that have built a rapport that overshadows their bank account. A rapport so great that at times you may wonder what exactly they actually spend their money on. These are the select few people who have either taken the time to build up their influence or their craft decided it. While most of their peers were out running circles in the rat race looking for fame and fortune, these individuals were building actual relationships. Relationships build influence. Influence equals power. Power equals the ability to run for president without having any knowledge of politics. Here are 5 people I believe that if they ran for president they would win.
5. – WALT DISNEY
Although he isn’t a live right now, I feel as though he still to this day maintains a great deal of influence of pop culture. Just a side note: when you’re a person of influence your presence is usually felt more in you absence than in your presence. If Disney ran for office, I believe he’d win by a land slide. I mean, come on…Disney World? I think that’s a no brainer.
4. – JAY-Z
Although, the Jigga man’s interest probably lies elsewhere he’d have a good shot at winning the popular vote if running for president in modern day America. Here you have a guy that went from virtually nothing to absolutely rich. Not to mention, he sleeps in the same bed as Beyonce every night. How many people you know personally that can go from drug dealer to a million dollar deal with Samsung? Don’t worry I’ll wait. Imagine what he could do for the country. Oh, yeah and his nickname is Hov. Short for Jay-Hova. I think I’ve said enough.
3. – OPRAH
How did Oprah get rich, you ask? Well, I can tell you one thing, it wasn’t from manipulating numbers. Oprah got rich from her influence, which is ironic because there are a lot of people who are only influential because they’re rich. Oprah became influential before the money came. Although she would probably never see the point in it, if she ran for office it’s a good chance she’d win.
2. – WARREN BUFFET
The government owes him money. Do I need to say anything else? Didn’t think so.
1. – MICHAEL JACKSON
One of the greatest entertainers to ever live. One of the greatest humans ever. Michael Jackson was more than just a singer with dance moves. He represented the people. He cared about the people. And though the same very people that he cared about often ridiculed him the most he continued to show nothing but love to the world. Regardless of the accusations and bullsh*t spread by paparazzi and yellow journalism Michael Jackson still is to this day one of the most influential people to live. If he were alive and ran for president, the whole world would vote him in.
