Capcom released 1985 Game Pack #1 for the Capcom Arcade Cabinet. Bold and italics. They swear it’s that important. If you’re an 80s gamer, this will definitely interest you. The first of the two packs features titles such as Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Gun.Smoke, and Section Z. The pack went up for sale March 5th, and can be bought from the NA Playstation Store and the worldwided XBLA Marketplace. Europe, you’re in luck. The European Playstation Store put the pack on its virtual shelves as of March 6th. You can buy 1985 Game Pack #1 for $9.99, €9.99, £7.99, or 800MSP.

Now here’s a little information about the three titles. In Ghosts ‘n Goblins, players will take the role of Sir Arthur. Sound familiar? Well, this isn’t ye olde Arthur. This Sir is a valiant knight who fights monsters in order to free the princess from the big bad Demon King. It’s time to claim what’s rightfully your… village’s. That’s your village’s princess. Don’t say she’s yours. Princesses aren’t property, sorry.

In Gun.Smoke, players step into the boots and spurs of Billy Bob. Oh, the name of a hero, ain’t it? He’s a bounty hunter travelling the Old West in order to bring some justice to the most ruthless criminals. Regular criminals get a boot to the face, at least. The game is an overhead scrolling shooter. In case you’re not familiar with the style, thing of games like Galaxian, Asteroids and Space Invaders. If you don’t know those games, I don’t think we can be friends.

Finally, let’s talk about the other shooter and final game. Last but not least and all that, right? Section Z is an eight-way directional shooter that forces players to head into outer space as a lone astronaut. Gamers’ve to fight there way through a secret space station. Unfortunately, it belongs to an alien empire called the “Balangool”. Who’s to say why we’ve to shoot everything in sight, but as the saying goes, shoot first and ask questions later.

On top of this, Avengers and 1943: The Battle of Midway are available for sale individually. This is exclusive to PSN users only. So sorry to everyone else. PSN users, grab the games for $3.99, €3.99, and £3.19 each.
