I have a saying that goes “I’m not that great at dressing, I just throw on my clothes…sometimes, on a good day I even match.” With the company ColorBlind Creations around with its vibrant colors and adolescent designs my inner child has a playground he can dwell in where doesn’t matching is the least of his worrries. What’s most important in fashion is being able to express ones self freely. What better being there is to emulate than that of a child that knows no boundaries.

I’ve found that some of the most creative people find a way to channel their inner child regardless of the responsibilities that adult hood bring about. Not saying a person should totally dismiss the things they are responsible for and live frivolous, but one should definitely try to maintain that childish persona to maintain creative control. This is what the brand ColorBlind Creations seems to promote with their concepts. ColorBlind Creations is a men’s and women’s limited edition clothing company that uses the theme of colors as a nostalgic reminder of our childhood when we could make things better no matter what they were by way of imagination. The goal of the company is to inspire people’s creativity and imagination and allow everyone the chance to feel like a kid again.

This is excellent for sneakerheads that don’t particularly care about matching up their shoes directly. I tend to think it takes away from an outfit when it is too “matchy”. Sponk it up a bit, change the colors up. Instead of directly matching up your black/red Bred 11′s with a boring black/red tee, throw on something that just totally doesn’t match it. Remember how freeing dressing was in elementary school before you “learned” how to dress. You could truly paint your outfit with your imaginary paintbrush, and not be ridiculed because nobody was going to judge you. ColorBlind Creations is giving us all a chance to be the natural artist that a child is.

If you are looking for an urban streetwear brand with typical mundane colors and average graphic designs then this is not the company you should rock. However, if you are looking for a label that will catch the eye of your peers when you accompany it with a fresh pair of your favorite sneakers then you will have no problem shopping for ColorBlind Creations.
