“Good Morning America” announced on air yesterday the full cast of season 16 of ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ The names this time around were definitely surprising including an NFL player, a “Real Housewives” star and a former “American Idol” contestant which we already revealed to you.
The 12 celebrities competing for the Mirrorball Trophy include boxer, Victor Ortiz who will be paired with newcomer Lindsay Arnold. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman will be paired with veteran dancer Mark Ballas. Singer Kellie Pickler will be paired with Derek Hough while singer Wynonna Judd will be paired with Tony Dovolani. Comedian D.L. Hughley will be gracing the ballroom with his presence (which was totally unexpected) and will be paired with Cheryl Burke. Comedian Andy Dick will be paired with newcomer Sharna Burgess. This will be quite the risky pair, as Dick’s last appearance on TV was ‘Celebrity Rehab,’ but a source close to the show has stated that much won’t be expected from Andy Dick, he’s merely there for comedic purposes.
The remainder of the cast includes NFL player Jacoby Jones who will be paired with Karina Smirnoff. “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump will be paired with newcomer Gleb Savchenko. This was another shocking celeb to appear on the show, as Vanderpump already is working on 2 reality shows and runs her own restaurants, how does she have the time, and why, just why would she want to be on DWTS? Disney star Zendaya Coleman will be paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, while “General Hospital” star Ingo Rademacher will be paired with Kym Johnson. Finally, Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill will be paired with Tristan MacManus on Season 16 of “Dancing With The Stars.”
The four athletes: Jacoby Jones, Aly Raisman, Victor Ortiz and Dorothy Hamill have a huge shot at the trophy, as they’ve fared well in the past with athletes winning 7 of the previous 15 titles. “Dancing With The Stars” premieres on March 18, 2013 on ABC.
Which celebrity do you think will win?
