In one of the more bizarre sports stories in a while, former Bears wide receiver said that he would have been willing to “cut off both of his balls” in order to play with Jay Cutler. David Terrell was one of the most disappointing Bears draft picks back in the early 2000s. He was drafted eight overall in the 2001 NFL Draft. Terrell blames his lack of success in the NFL on the below average quarterbacks that played in Chicago during the time which include Kordell Stewart, Jim Miller and Chad Hutchinson.

While Terrell does make a good point that the Bears did not have good quarterbacks during his tenure, he seems a little too eager to play with a talented quarterback. Terrell added that “Jay Cutler is no doubt a top ten quarterback in this league.”

Although we cannot speculate how well Terrell could have done with Cutler, we cannot doubt his willingness to play with a talented quarterback.
