It’s safe to say that the Daytona 500 is the Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing. One reason for the ratings spike might be because the race has become a place for big time celebrities to hang out. Rapper 50 Cent made his way onto pit road and just happened to run into sideline reporter Erin Andrews. “Of course, 50 Cent here,” Andrews starts out saying and then 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, leans in for a kiss, but Erin pulls back, and gives him the good ole cheek. 50, who wasn’t expecting that, eventually kissed the other cheek she offered. Erin finally says “I’ve got talk to Danica Patrick,” before asking 50 “What are you doing here?”

50 later took to his Twitter account and tweeted “Hey I wanted to kiss her so I did.” NASCAR has been trying to reach a younger audience lately. And appearances by T.I., who was also spotted at the race, and 50 Cent may have introduced the hip hop generation to the sport. Do you think 50 crossed the line?
