Diddy has decided to set the record straight and instead of constantly being asked what type of music his Revolt TV will play – he shot an exclusive video to clear it all up for everyone. The video debuted on HuffPost Entertainment and XXL.com and Diddy says,
“The best of rock, the best of EDM, the best of hip-hop — the future of music. We may play some country music if it’s funky enough. Ain’t no closed-mindedness with music. Revolt is a multi-genre, multi-platform music network We gon’ play that new shit. The stuff that other people are afraid to play. If you like good music, you finally have a home.”
Revolt TV has been making headlines for quite a while and is set to launch on television in major markets on Oct. 21. The channel is being billed as “social by design” and will launch with all-music programming: videos, music news and interviews.
Revolt’s only true competitor is probably Fuse Music. MTV and VH1 moved away from music programming a long time ago and have stayed in the reality TV market for a while now. Check out Diddy‘s exclusive video about Revolt TV after the jump.
