Erin Brockovich has officially been charged with drunk driving a boat. As we previously reported, she was arrested last week after wardens suspected she was under the influence while trying to dock her boat on Lake Mead in Nevada.
Apparently Brockovich and her husband were loudly fighting, so a game warden approached to investigate the situation. The warden allegedly observed Erin throw a cell phone into the lake and slap her husband. According to reports, Erin’s husband had filed for divorce last year, but the divorce had since been called off.
The warden asked Erin Brockovich to dock her boat, but she told him she’s, “not very good at driving” it. The warden helped guide the boat in himself. At that point the game warden suspected she was under the influence because she was slurring her words and smelled like booze. According to the warden, she also blew a .186 and .190 on the breathalyzer.
Erin Brockovich was arrested but has since apologized for her actions.
