Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her husband, NFL star Tom Brady‘s Brentwood, California home is featured in the latest issue of Architectural Digest. The eco-fabulous home was designed by Joan Behnke and architect Richard Landry.
Bundchen explains, “I like simplicity and coziness,” adding, “I want to live in a place that feels like a real home, where you can put your feet up on the couch and just relax.” The home surprisingly doesn’t look like a typical over-the-top celebrity home. It’s pointed out that the two most outrageous things about the home are the moat that’s around the house and Gisele’s closet which includes a gorgeous antique chandelier, custom-made cabinetry and marble counter-tops.
Considering she’s the highest paid supermodel in the world it’s no wonder her closet ended up a focal point of the home. The house is less glitzy and more ‘green’ featuring reclaimed oak ceilings, solar panels and a water-efficient system.
