Holly Madison Plans To Eat Her Placenta After Birth (DETAILS)

Holly Madison went from Playboy Playmate and Hugh Hefner‘s #1 girlfriend, to pregnant and planning to eat her own placenta. Downgrade? Absolutely not! The former Playboy bunny announced on her blog yesterday that after giving birth she plans to eat her placenta.

This is a common practice, surprisingly, among-st new moms. 33-year old Madison announced the news on her blog by writing, “”This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth.” She then attached a photo of placenta pills and wrote, “I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can!”

Other celebrities have consumed placenta pills before and actually made it public as well. January Jones, from “Mad Men” famously told British Glamour, “It’s a very civilized thing that can help women with depression or fatigue. I was never depressed or sad or down after the baby was born, so I’d highly suggest it to any pregnant woman.”

Holly Madison is set to give birth to her first child March 5th.
