Indie Game Feature: We’re All Crazy Cat Ladies

While I get my bearings together, allow me to bring you an off schedule indie game.

Team Meat has teased this game for the past seventeen weeks, but they left everyone in the dark as to what this game was and what the technicalities of it all were. According to them, their soon to be released game Mew-Genics is rather hard to explain.

To take from them, they say that “would describe Mew-Genics as a cross between The Sims and Pokemon with a sprinkling of Animal Crossing and a dash of Tamagotchi”. That sounds like an osh-kosh of trouble. Sims + Tamagotchi, for me, just sounds like a lot of sudden deaths and a ridiculous amount of fires. Or someone pissin’ themselves. Hopefully, in Mew-Genics, your cats won’t be doing anything of the sort, but I can see now that’s something of an outlandish want.

Mew-Genics is a wild game. The amount of cats available is staggering, currently at 25418658283290000000000000 and growing. So much fur on everything you love. Everything you love. The game is still in its alpha stage but is expected to be released at some point this year on Steam, iOS, and Android. Any other platforms? We’ll just have to see.
