When Instagram released their Terms of Service, users were outraged and felt it was ridiculous. So now wait until you hear this one! Since the new Terms of Service update has gone into effect, the photo sharing site is now pestering its users asking them to confirm their identity with a government-issued, photo ID. Don’t think for a second that this is a joke. Apparently, they’re not fooling around. Here’s a screenshot of the message:
Instagram is also allowed to reject a user’s ID if they deem it insufficient. This would result in you not being allowed to share your photos with your followers. Bummer, it might be the end of the world if that happens.
