In the new issue of the February Chicago Sun-Times’ SPLASH, Jenny McCarthy is inviting readers into her Chicago apartment to show off her pad and her body.  Posing naked in a bathtub, the 40-year old discusses her move to the Windy City with her son Evan and her new late night talk show.

McCarthy tells the mag, “The whole goal was to move out here so he could have friends — he didn’t have any in LA.  So now we live next door to my best friend Julie and her three boys, and my friend Colleen and when I’m gone, he has his friends and that’s the way it should be.”  Chi-town also happens to be Jenny’s hometown and a place she hopes to move her new late night talk show to if it takes off.

Jenny told SPLASH, “If my show is a real success, it’s coming here and they know it,” she says. “By the end of the summer, I’d love nothing more than to be shooting ‘The Jenny McCarthy Show’ downtown.”  McCarthy started her career prior to Playboy on MTV and now ”The Jenny McCarthy Show” airs this Friday at 9:30 p.m. on VH1.

The shows format is “cocktail party with celebrities” and Jenny McCarthy is a pretty complex creature explaining, “The thing is, I couldn’t have done a talk show before now, because I needed to go through my own life experiences,” she says. “I can’t fake anything, nor does the audience want that. I’m going into the show saying, ‘Here’s me, here’s all of me.’ I am smart, I am dumb, I am secure, I am insecure.
