Jenny McCarthy is in serious talks to join the ABC morning talk show full-time. Jenny would be joining as Joy Behar‘s replacement. The 70-year old comedian is leaving in August and the sexy single mom might take the couch in her place.
Jenny McCarthy is currently hosting her own late-night show on VH1 – but ratings are low and according to an insider, “Her show isn’t quite working out, so she’s definitely open to it.” A source explains, “The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny (on The View). She’s a good fit. She may not be able to carry a show, but she works well with a group ensemble.”
Allegedly, Brooke Shields is also in talks to join the daytime show to replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck, in the fall. However, Hasselbeck has never confirmed the news that she may or may not be leaving the show. Joy Behar isn’t the only one leaving though, Barbara Walters revealed in May that she plans to retire in summer 2014.
Do you think Jenny McCarthy is a good pick for The View?
