Taking a note from Aaron Hernandez‘s playbook, disgraced Penn State coach, Jerry Sandusky is writing letters to pen pals from prison. The convicted child rapist says he’s having a “very challenging” time behind bars but insists he’s “trying to get better.”
The 69-year old has been sitting in a prison cell for the last 9 months and has been writing several people. It’s obvious from his letters he’s struggling in there. Jerry Sandusky writes, “I’ve been quite confined, always searching for purpose…It is very challenging.” However, Jerry is still playing the victim – in one letter written in May, and another in June, Sandusky refers to his conviction as a grave injustice.
Sandusky also vows to continue battling the case “until the last whistle.” He never specifically references pedophilia, but he does say, “I’m trying to get better.” The former coach is serving 30-60 years behind bars for raping between 10 to 15 young boys. It’s likely he’ll die behind bars. To see Jerry Sandusky‘s prison letter in it’s entirety, check it out here.
