According to LeBron James, himself he is not the highest paid playeri in basketball. In fact, LeBron James gets paid the same amount as his Heat teammate Chris Bosh. Wow, it’s hard to believe it. What’s the world coming to when the greatest player in the game doesn’t get paid like he’s the greatest player. I think it’s safe to say, that without LeBron James, the NBA’s stock would be at an all time low right now. Especially with the fall of Kobe Bryant and the constant battles between the league itself and it’s players.

LeBron wants his fans and NBA skeptics to know that he is the 13th highest paid player in the NBA. And as much as it blows my mind to know that there are 12 other people in the league that get paid more than this guy I have to respect it. LeBron states that it is more about winning and playing the game he loves than about the money. This is something that we haven’t seen, not even from the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan, who was always on the top paid list when it came to NBA players (in addition to his popular shoes that hypebeasts, not sneakerheads, literally kill each other over).

I think, this act by James shows that sometimes to get what you want you have to give up what you want. Added to the fact that there is no way to truly quantify LeBron Jame’s talent into money any way with policies such as the “collective bargaining” agreement.
