Lil Wayne was hospitalized earlier this week due to multiple seizures in Los Angeles and then was released shortly after. Now, it’s currently breaking that Lil Wayne is in intensive care in critical condition after suffering another seizure.
The 30-year old rapper was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures and was released hours later on Wednesday morning. Then shortly after one of his bodyguards found him in his room, unconscious on the floor.
Lil Wayne was then rushed to the hospital again but this time he did not stabilize. According to reports, “He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.” He was placed in an induced coma because he was unstable. He is currently on a breathing machine.
TMZ is reporting, “several people are at Wayne’s bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably. Sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.” Apparently the rapper’s stomach had to be pumped 3 times to flush the drugs out of his system.
Wayne is currently at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. and his mother is on a plane rushing to his side. Allegedly, “all major decisions about Lil Wayne’s health, including the decision to discontinue life support, will not be made until she arrives.”
