So I thought I’d take some time out today to discuss a group of people who have been world changers since the beginning of time. People who have had to go against the grain since the day they were born. Individuals that have difficulty writing because they smear the very words they jot as they are written. Those of us who had to suck it up and learn how to use can openers with our right hands and fail horribly. So, I’m guessing between this elaborate verbose introduction and the obvious choice of title that you know who I am referring to by now right? And if not you’re probably right…handed. Idiots.

Today I will go down a list of people you probably never would have known were left handed that are either world changers of today or have impacted society as whole throughout history.

JAY-Z

LARRY BIRD

BARRACK OBAMA

TOM CRUISE

LEBRON JAMES

LEONARDO DA VINCI

And there is plenty more where that came from.

Something amazing happens when a child is handed a pencil and instead of reaching with their right like the rest of the population they reach with their left. It’s a beautiful phenomena, especially being that only 10 percent of the world’s population is left handed.

August 13 is national Left Handers Day. Guess who will be celebrating?
