Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after dislocating her shoulder. Carey was on the set of her latest music video - a remix of her single “Beautiful” being directed by her husband Nick Cannon.
It’s unclear what Mariah Carey was actually doing to get injured but according to her spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, who told The New York Post that she was then rushed to New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery immediately following the incident.
Berger said, “She was taken to the hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home.” Despite her injury, Mariah Carey will still be performing at a free concert in Central Park’s Great Lawn on Saturday in a concert sponsored by Major League Baseball to benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief.
