MTV Has Just Ordered A Series About A Family That’s A Hybrid Of The Kardashians & Arrested Development

Deadline is reporting that MTV has just ordered a series based on a family that’s a hybrid of the Kardashians and the Bluths from Arrested Development. The family is called “the Wilsons” and they’re a little Kardashian, the Bluths and the Pritchetts from Modern Family.

The series is called “Watching The Wilsons” and it’ll be partially scripted and partially improvised. It will have the look of a good reality show, just one which you don’t know if the fights and drama are real or scripted (which happens to be with every reality show).

It’s unclear how a mix of the Kardashians, Arrested Development and Modern Family will mix into one show, but it definitely captures our interest. MTV must really be searching for new reality series’ since they lost the high impact ratings of Jersey Shore last year. Currently they have their Teen Mom series which is running dry and now Buckwild which is a country version of the Jersey Shore, but they must be trying to compete with the overwhelming amount of Kardashian madness over on the E! Network.
