In the NFL’s first official championship game, the Chicago Bears edge the New York Giants 23-21 in the fog at Wrigley Field. The Giants take a 21-16 lead early in the fourth quarter, but the Bears use the old razzle dazzle to win the game. Fullback Bronco Nagurski completes a screen pass to Bill Hewitt who laterals to Bill Karr who completes the game winning 33 yard scoring play.
