Tony Parker left game three in the third quarter because of tightness in his hamstring. He received an MRI yesterday that revealed he has a grade I hamstring strain, which is good news for Spurs fans. Grade I is the mildest strain level and he should be able to go in game 4. The question is how effective will he be? He’s getting the best treatment, no doubt, but he will not be 100%.
The Spurs proved at the end of game three that they can handle the Heat without Parker. If his injury proves to affect his game, will San Antonio succeed? I think they’ll limit his playing time tonight regardless of the score. We’ll see what Gregg Popovich does…you know what they say, “Pop knows best!”
