After reports of threats from the North Carolina street gang, Gangster Disciples, Rick Ross canceled his shows on “The Maybach Music” Tour in North Carolina and then a few days later they axed the remaining shows on the tour.

In an interview with AllHipHop, Ross said the reason for canceling was, “lack of organization and communication on the part of the tour promoter”.  He also issued an apology to his fans,

“I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities. I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I’m ready to get back in the studio to make good music.”

To date, Rick Ross has not addressed the suspected death threats made at him from Gangster Disciples.
