Soletron Daily Ride: Pagini Huayra

A while back I posted the Zonda in an article about fish tailing and how it, just doesn’t do that. Well now I bring you the successor to the Pagini Zonda, the Huayra. It took me a while (and a quick google) to find out it is pronounced (why-ra), but it didn’t take me long at all to fall head over heals for it.

The Italian hyper-car is a beauty and a beast. The heart of the machitne is a Mercedes AMG engine, a twin turbo V-12 that is coupled with a seven speed transmission. Thanks to the 730-hp engine the Huayra can reach a top speed of 230mph. The doors open Delorean style and fully exposed this beast looks like a damn transformer. The Italian’s know three things better than anyone else; pasta, beauty, and performance. All this car needs is pasta. If you are in the market for a certified panty-dropper, the newest Pagini will run you about $1.5 million.
