So one of my good friends from Cali tipped me on this fresh streetwear brand the other day that I totally had to get you guys acclimated with. It’s called Urban Relaxation. And its..well, it’s the epitome of dope sh*t. The brands controversial yet original style is what causes it stand out from most of the boring, traditional, un-creative, typical, basic (Ok you get it) brands on the market. Finally someone who doesn’t give a f*ck what anyone thinks. Actually, if you ask me, the owner Justin $tash probably doesn’t give a billion f*cks what anyone thinks.

The Urban Relaxation was created back in 2007 by fashion designer Justin $tash. It started off as a way for him to have his own clothing, rather then purchasing clothes from the mall, & wearing the same clothes as his former high school peers. In 2011 The Urban Relaxation began getting really big, spreading across the world, selling internationally. A lot of The Urban Relaxation designs are actually a parody. Very humorous, & to some it may be offensive, In which makes us a very unique street wear brand. Our clothing was originally designed for skateboarders, but started to get picked up by everyone. We support all who support us & will continue to spread The Urban Relaxation Movement Forever.

Got an opportunity to sit down with him for an interview and here’s what was said.

Where is the brand based?

South Florida, LA, & NYC

Who are the owners and what roles do you all have?

Justin Stash is the only owner. He runs everything.

Being that you are a very controversial brand with the parody images, what are the type of reactions do you get from people? (For example the “Nigga” shirt.)

Everyone loves the shirt.

What was the inspiration for that particular shirt?
We wanted to do something a little special for black history month.

Has Urban Relaxation been seen on any celebrities we might know?

Where do you all see Urban Relaxation in the next 5 years?

In stores world wide.

Who do you see as your competition right now?

Not really competing with anyone
