Four college girls by the names of of Brit, Candy, Cotty, and Faith embark on an adventure that begins with the four of them landing right in the slammer. Played by Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, and Heather Morris, this tetrad of undergrads desires nothing more than to experience a spring break reminiscent of Girls Gone Wild.
They decide to finance their week at the Florida beach by knocking over a restaurant. Incidentally, the young scholars are no more criminal masterminds than they are feminists. Luckily, an upstanding drug and arms dealer going by the alias, Alien, bails the girls out of prison in return for their assistance in few dirty deeds. Alien, played by James Franco, sets the girls on a wild journey characterized by thematic elements our Puritan society shuns: drugs, violence, and sex.

Spring Breakers, a cinematic showcase of hedonistic heaven, is directed by Harmony Korine, who is best known for writing Kids, and for directing Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy and Mister Lonely. In addition, the one and only, Skillex, is the creator of the movie’s score. The title is scheduled for release on March 8th, 2013 and runs 92 minutes.
