Any musician knows it can be difficult to find quality amateur music videos on youtube. As a general rule, people who are inexperienced are more likely to make a youtube video than someone who shreds. Luckily, bad musicians generally identify themselves with a two minutes speech to the camera which serves as an introduction.

I recently discovered the youtuber COOP3RDRUMM3R, Casey Cooper, a 21 year old drummer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He’s young, but produces some of the best drum covers on youtube (certainly the best I’ve come across.) Apart from recording all genres of drum covers, Casey plays drums with Georgia State University’s Marching Band & Basketball Band. He’s versatile and takes requests, so hit him up on his channel here. Check out this drum cover of The Lonely Island.
