Meet Phillip Blackman the creator of a line of zombie teddy bears, or “Undead Teds”, as he’s dubbed them. Blackman has been unable to keep up with demand for the bloody bears. Blackman summed up the popularity of the bears, saying “there are always people who like the macabre”. And that makes sense, I suppose, since Tim Burton is still making movies.
There comes a point when a joke strays away from practical and steers toward cruel. I used to jump out from dark corners to scar my brother. That’s harmless. But say a man put this in their kid’s room? It would scare a grown person. How much psychological damage could that joke do to a 5 year old? Even better, the parent sneaks into their child’s room while they sleep and leave an undead ted for him or her to behold upon waking. Merciless.
