On Christmas Eve the hip hop world was in shock to find out that 19 year old Capital Steez of Pro Era had taken his life. After sending one cryptic final tweet, “The End”, the rapper was found dead Monday morning. Joey Bada$$ sent out a tweet to fans Monday morning after hearing the news, “This unfortunate xmas eve.. Lost a best friend, a brother, a pro, a partner. Letting go is never easy.. May ur soul rest in peace Jamal..”

Thanks to Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97, we now have one more thing to remember Steez by. “Since the tragic passing of Capital STEEZ happened the other day — I thought it made sense to let go of some positivity to brighten things up,” said Rosenberg as he drops this previously unreleased footage of Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era free styling in the studio.
