In short the northern lights are the end result of solar winds clashing with Earth’s magnetic field. So yeah, now you can recite this to anyone asking what the aurora is. But you don’t really have a firm grasp of what’s going on because one can’t adequately describe the northern lights with words. Mathematics is vocabulary you must know to really understand.
