This morning, the Denver Broncos released running back Willis McGahee, the team’s leading rusher from last season and fourth leading rusher in the NFL since his debut in 2004.
McGahee does not plan to retire. He said that, “I don’t feel like I have to go out there and say what I have left. I know what I can do. I’m not worried about it. Once I get the opportunity, it will be all good.”
This move by the Broncos opens the door for rookie running back Montee Ball and former third round draft pick Ronnie Hillman.
